Rated 2 out of 5Â by perfecto unreliable, not durable
It is better than the previous slim AC/DC adapter in that the 12 volt is now separate. It seemed to have everything including charging computer and device simultaneously. i even bought the tip for the iphone. Problem is too many connectors and reliability of the cables. After a while it stopped charging and the only way to get it to work is to twist the cables. Also it is cumbersome to carry as it has many pieces. I think that one is much better off with a simple 65Watt charger and a separate one for the 12volt if it is really necessary. Today most airline power adaptors support std electricity.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Dann0 Not worth it - - at all !
Initially shipped without tip for X1 (description said for X1).
Cords are bulky and negate any room savings over standard power adapter.
X1 Carbon power manager message says that adapter will not provide enough power to charge battery and run device!
Battery discharges, and then device must be shut down to recharge battery - - totally useless. It is a power adapter, I shouldn't have to spend an hour on the phone with tech support for an AC adapter! And I won't - - it is going on the shelf.

Absolutely a must-have accessory. If you use a laptop to travel, why use anything else? With the optional tips, you can charge everything you have including smartphones, other computers even your Dell.
SMART!!
