Changed my approach to laptop use with its ease of installation and crisp magnification of everything I need to see and read. Particularly helpful to a member of my household with vision issues. My only regret is that I can't make it work simultaneously with two laptops, one a Mac and the other an old Windows XP.

in the context of word processing, bookkeeping this is great for the price
However,
as with most displays by mail order, it is fraught with risk; one should see them in person first;
ignore descriptions; this unit is lightweight plastic but yet sturdy with very useful additional usb connections;
However, picture color quality varies greatly from top to bottom (darker substantially at top); I did not care because of my context for it, for word processing and bookkeeping, mainly, not image evaluation: also tried more expensive NEC and Samsung and they were the same or worse; as far as I can tell, one has to spend much more, say in the one thousand dollar range to get an even color field across the whole display

I had 4 View Sonic Monitors. Never had any problems with either one of them. They just did not quit for years of heavy use. I finally gave them away, to replace them with newer models.
From what I know they are still in use.
