Rated 4 out of 5Â by SCjay Good product, short cable Quiet, capacious, fast. It's not the prettiest, and its LED is on the back - none too useful. Very short cable, and a funny one. Decent price for such a large drive. Mine didn't auto-recognize (on a brand new Win 7 machine), and I had to manually format it. The included instructions for that were quite clear, and it worked the first time. Had to wait for backordering, too, about 2 weeks, even though the website had claimed it was in stock. Rated 5 out of 5Â by Combes Fast, compact, roomy I needed a reliable storage device for my music and video archives. I've considered several different models and decided to go for Minimus. With 2 TB of storage space it's only 4.4 x 6.8 in. in size. The drive is extremely fast thanks to USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0). I have Windows 7, the setup was very easy. The only minor inconvenience was the USB cable: I think it could be a bit longer. Overall, Minimus is a great desktop drive that comes at a reasonable price considering the performance and quality.
