If attempts are made to remove Computrace from a device, the technology simply rebuilds itself. Computrace products allow you to easily identify computers that have gone missing or are at risk.
Create rules to manage devices and receive alerts if any rules are broken. Proactively investigate any suspicious behaviour and, if security measures are required, send commands from the Absolute Customer Center to freeze a device, delete data, or – in the event of theft – contact the Absolute Theft Recovery team who will engage with local law enforcement to recover the computer and solve the crime.

Use Device Freeze to freeze a computer and display a custom message to the user encouraging them to comply with specific requests for action (return for servicing, user ID validation, etc.).
