It is pretty good as a player. The remote is sometimes a bit slow in response but overall it is a nice product.

The media player is great. It plays everything and best of all you don't need to carry an external around because there is an internal hard drive. The streaming is fast and reliable when connected directly with a network cable. The media player does not come with a wifi adapter but I believe there is one you can buy and attach. I really wish there was more streaming apps. You have your standard Hulu Plus, Netflix, and Spotify but it doesn't have HBO GO or any of the other cable network streaming apps. The biggest disappointment is the transfer speed. The device has a Gigabit network card but it transfers nowhere near that speed. 10MBps is about the best you'll get. Hopefully, if or when they release the next generation they release is with USB 3.0. If it wasn't for the slow transfer speed I would give it 5 stars.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of programs on my computer that I would burn to disks. This is so much easier. In fact I liked it so much I bought a second one.

The only complaint I would have is maybe when it updates the software it takes forevr. Overall though its a wonderful product. If they were to make a new version I would like to see them add wifi and more usb ports. The inferace is great. The fact I can use my phone or harmony one with it is awesome. I could keep going. I have multiple hdd attached and use it frequently.
