-Unpack the SonicWALL firewall
- Mount SonicWALL in rack, if applicable
- Connect SonicWALL to pre-existing AC power supply or UPS and neatly dress the cable
- Attach and dress customer provided cables to existing network
- Configure basic TCP/IP settings on both the WAN and LAN interfaces
- Configure basic DHCP settings on the LAN interface, if applicable
- Create basic egress / ingress rules for standard services (DNS, HTTP, POP3, SMTP, etc.)
- Assist customer with registration of the SonicWALL
- Apply any additional licenses
- Enable UTM services with default configuration, if applicable
- Connect and configure one PC on one of the LAN ports
- Verify installation by testing connectivity from one PC
- Remove packing materials to on on-site dumpster or other trash receptacle
