This version of the RDX 8000 Removable Disk-Based Library includes Backup Exec QuickStart. Expected compression/duplication ratios are 2:1 with Quickstart.
The Quantum RDX 8000 is a disk based data protection solution for the SMB customer. The RDX 8000 brings the best features of disk—fast access, fast restores and combines them with the best features of tape libraries removability for disaster recovery and an automated backup process. The RDX 8000 features iSCSI connectivity, JBOD (just a bunch of disks) or tape emulation mode and is compatible with current and future RDX cartridge capacities (current capacities run from 1.2TB to 8TB using RDX Cartridges).
