The Samsung DV300F Digital DualView Camera (Black) is an advanced digital camera featuring Dual LCD technology and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. An impressive 16 Megapixel 1/2.3" (1.1 cm) CCD sensor delivers excellent image quality. Add to that a 5x optical zoom and 25 - 125mm wide-angle lens capable of focusing as close as 2.0" (5.0 cm) in macro mode, and you've got the capability to capture images and video in stunning detail, even at a distance. Completing the recipe for superb image quality is a 1.5" (3.8 cm), 61,000-dot front-facing LCD screen, complementing the rear 3.0" (7.6 cm) 460,000-dot TFT LCD, which helps you nail even the most challenging shots.

Thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, you can email your images or upload them to social media sites like Facebook, Picasa, Flickr and YouTube for sharing. Photos saved onto the camera's microSD memory card may be saved to a home PC wirelessly via the Auto PC Backup function! Cloud services such as Samsung's AllShare Play and Microsoft SkyDrive enable you to store and share your pictures from any location. The camera features a log-on browser that enables you to use public Wi-Fi hotspots.

But there's more: The cool Split Shot feature lets you merge as many as 3 different images to produce your own artistic masterpiece. You can even import photos from other cameras. With the Funny Face function, add silly smiles, comical noses or crazy eyes to pictures of friends and family--in a total of 8 different modes! Using the innovative Artistic Brush feature, instantly take a portrait, landscape shot or even a video clip and turn it into a black and white or full color sketch--the same way an artist would. Then, proudly display your artistic creation on the camera's LCD, or by simple upload to social networking sites to give everyone the chance to look at your work--which you might even decide to make your latest profile picture! The exciting Motion Photo feature lets you feel like a Hollywood blockbuster filmmaker: Freeze time around a moving subject for dramatic effect.

If what you're looking for is a fun, friendly camera to help with your sociable lifestyle, then this is definitely the camera for you - it's so compact, lightweight, straightforward, yet very much able to take high quality images that are definitely worth sharing. It's great to use when it's dark, too, so it's ideal for going out. I got this for Christmas, but I already have a DSLR, so for me, it was great to play around with features and the display at the front is fantastic! It's much easier to use when going out and it is just generally great. The downsides for me are that it's slow at taking the pictures and processing them and the battery life isn't that great. But that's it! And for a point-and-shoot, I'd say it's the best out right now! (Jan 2013) What a fabulous present :) January 30, 2013

The picture quality is great and it contains loads of features (My favorite feature is where I can take a picture on my camera from my iPod!) It is very easy to setup and from what I have seen so far it also has a great battery life. Brilliant camera, highly recommended, a must buy. December 27, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Jerry Great Camera poor software support :( The Camera is amazing, but had a horrible time trying to get Adobe Flash Player update so I could view pictures in the intelli studio software cd that comes with camera. Its a real shame because the editing software looks fantastic. But I guess Adobe has changed to fast or Samsung hasn't worked out those kinks yet? Not sure who to blame on that one. So I am going to say this Camera is a great deal and offers many fantastic features, just has poor PC software as of now. And no update/fix for Adobe flash player. PLEASE FIX!!!! July 30, 2012
