The HP No. 81 Printhead and Cleaner Dye works with the HP DesignJet 5000 and 5500 series of large format printers to achieve amazing print speeds through HP's jetexpress technology. The printhead uses the HP No. 81 Dye six-color ink system and newly formulated dye-based inks along with "Smart chips" embedded in each of the HP No. 81 Dye ink cartridges and printheads, monitoring ink usage and tracking printhead wear, alerting you when it's time to replace the cartridges. The bundled printhead cleaner extends printhead life and ensures consistent performance.
