Combining an RJ45 LAN tester with a telephone test set, the kit has full-range continuity testing, line condition, signal tracing and wire identification with a tone generator and tone probe cable tracer. The LAN tester identifies open, crossed and shorted connections with a clear LED display for each pin and shield. It has an automatic display of mapping with dual speeds (slow or fast).
The Telephone Test Set and Tone Probe Cable Tracer checks the polarity of your telephone power line, allowing you to view telephone line status including dial tone, ringing line or busy line. It orovides talk power for telephone lines and butt set use along with selectable dual/single tone application for balanced and unbalanced circuits.
