However when adjusting the volume on your car stereo, you will get better quality of sound if you adjust the volume on your ipod itself rather than your car stereo. As you turn up your car stereo, you hear a hiss that you don't hear if you keep the volume down on your car stereo and adjust the volume on the ipod instead. March 3, 2009
