Pros: A fan pushes/pulls air and this one seems to do that job well.
Note. This fan has both a 3 and 4 "pin" power supply mounts, which means it will plug into a three pin socket on the mother board or a 4 pin "molex" found on the power cable coming off the power supply. When using the molex to supply the power there is a second three pin plug that can be plugged into the mother board and used for monitoring the fan speed if your mother board supports that feature. (As far as I know most 4 pin fan scockets found on the mother board use PWM control and if this fan is plugged in, will run generally at a fixed speed (high). If that is your application, you might want to keep looking and purchase a PWM fan rather than this one that uses voltage control?)
Double ball bearings and with a little luck should outlast the working life of this computer.
Three speeds controlled by a small control switch.
Cons: Minor issue. Fan comes with 4 short mounting screws that will only work when fastening through a piece of sheet metal. If your case has a plastic fan shroud like mine (an Antec) the screws are too short to go through both the sheet metal and shroud and still be long enough to hold the fan in place. I would have given it 5 stars had it came with longer screws.
