do not buy this RAM for a G5... it doesn't work properly. the manufacturer says there is a "known issue" about it not showing up properly in the system profile. I bought it a month ago, and am *still* trying to get them to rectify this problem. Go with a manufacturer that knows how to make RAM that is compatible with mac.
