This card is IPMI 2.0 Compliant (IPMI over LAN); it shares the LAN controller with main board and uses out-of-band bandwidth. It monitors CPU/system temperature, system fan and CPU fan status and system voltage. It supports Event Log information for hardware monitor events as well as remote management when your system is dead or in power standby. The card offers user and password security control.
