The robust design of the LaserJet 90450 provides a reliable, high-volume printing system capable of supporting the most demanding general office and high-volume transaction printing environments. This monochrome laser printer achieves stunning speeds of up to 40 ppm with the first page out in 8 seconds, and it can maintain its high productivity for up to 300,000 pages per month. The 533 Mhz processor with 64 MB RAM makes such performance possible. Your documents remain professional-looking with a crisp, 600 x 600 dpi resolution and HP's Resolution Enhancement Technology.

You'd think such a powerful printer would be difficult to operate, but the LaserJet 9040 has a number of convenient, easy-to-use features. Its all-in-one print cartridges are easy to load with an automatic seal tab removal and shake-free design. The intuitive LCD control panel simplifies use and saves support time. The panel also allows for functions like proof and hold and confidential printing.

Not only can you use your LaserJet 9040 across multiple hardware and software platforms, you can also print on a wide range of media up to 12.3"x18.5" and 58 lbs. in weight. The printer comes standard with two input trays for a capacity of 1,000 sheets, and you can add an optional tray and multipurpose tray for a maximum input of 3,100 sheets. Other options include a 3,000 sheet stacker for enhanced document finishing, or an automatic duplex unit.
