Rated 4 out of 5Â by SkateBoard long lasting I have used Maxtor/Seagate drives for 18+ years now. They are long lasting workhorses. I only bought this drive because all my other "spare" drives are IDE and I needed SATA. Two other drives I was using in my grandkids systems, a Western digital 200Gb and an IBM 80 Gb, recently died on me. They were also replaced with Seagates. I really like Seagate's products.
