The HP Color LaserJet 2840 All-In-One integrates a high-speed color printer, fax, scanner and copier into one unit to save you time, money and aggravation. Incredibly efficient with 96MB of memory (upgradeable to 144MB) and a 264MHz processor, you also have the flexibility of USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity. The LaserJet 2840 also comes with memory card slots for PC-free printing.
The printer delivers outstanding image quality using Resolution Enhancement technology (REt). 600 x 600 dpi resolution (2400 dpy print quality) gives any document a crisp and professional look. Printing and copying at 20ppm monochrome and 4ppm color, the 2840 All-In-One has an impressive paper input capacity. Its multipurpose tray holds 125-sheets, while tray 2 holds 250 sheets. A 50-sheet ADF is also included. You can use a variety of paper up to 8.5" x 14" as well.
The copier produces up to 600 x 300 dpi monochrome and color resolutions and it can reduce and enlarge between 25-400 percent. The flatbed 1200 x 1200 dpi color scanner is simple to use via the front control panel with Scan-to button (preconfiguration via software required). It can also be initiated remotely from HP Director, TWAIN-compliant or WIA-compliant software and HP Image Zone Software.
The fax machine comes with a Super G3 V.34 fax modem (up to 33 kbps) and 2 RJ-11 ports. Use the Fax-send software for PC and Mac systems to send faxes over USB and network connectivity. Fax resolutions run at up to 300 x 300 dpi and it comes with a variety of cost-saving features including forwarding, quick dialing (120 locations), 4 MB fax memory (up to 250 pages), polling (receive only), delayed sending, distinctive ring detection, auto reduction, auto redial, phone TAM interface, telephone mode and junk barrier.
