The models are designed to fit laptops with a 2.5" SATA internal hard drive, so incase of a curropted file or failed hard drive, the ABSplus can be fitted into your laptop easily for fast disaster recovery. The ABSplus includes a rescue CD incase of Windows corruption, so you can perform a complete system recovery or re-image your primary drive.

The ABSplus BounceBack professional makes a complete backup of all files, applications, and operating systemson your laptop upon initial connection. Each time the ABSplus is plugged in, the drive automatically scans your source drive for any new or change files. If you have lost a file or folder, simply connect the ABSplus and drag and drop the missing file/folder back onto your computer. Or use the new QuickRestore option to recover any previously deleted data from your laptop.
