The Data Express 115 (DX115) is a rugged drive carrier and receiving frame for internally mounting a low profile, 3.5" form factor drive into any half-height, 5.25" peripheral bay. The DE115's rugged construction allows for protection of the drive in the even of physcial trauma. With hot swappability the DX115 provides opertational flexibility, allowing drive carries to be removed while the system is powered up. Cru's "soft start" circuitry assures the data integrity by elimnating in-rush current during spin-up and avoiding power arcing during insertion. The DX115 supports both SAS and SATA 3.0Gb/s RoHS interfaces. This DX115 is the carrier only.
