The MiniMag is an intelligent, programmable MagStripe reader. MiniMag provides a wide range of functionality and value in a convenient package size. The entire unit is just 90mm long, about the length of a credit card. It has a beeper and three-color LED indicator to signal a successful read. The reader is programmable so that the data format and intelligent interface output can be programmed and configured to match application and communication requirements. Programming is easy using ID TECH's Magswipe PC software.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by jcapps this card reader rocks! We manually activate thousands of cards each year, which requires each one to be swiped. This reader was easy to install. It was also easy to configure with the included software. The terminology in the software may be foreign to some, but by trial and error, the setup can be customized to the user's exact specifications. It reads each card almost every time, and really cuts down on time spent typing in card numbers. I would definitely recommend this card reader! November 25, 2009

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BigRuss Plug it in and it worked Plugged it in, the software loaded drivers for it by itself, and it worked. The only problem is once in an while, 1 in 5 times, we need to reswipe the card to get it to read. August 18, 2009
