The CyberPower Systems CP1350AVRLCD UPS, designed for mid to high-end computer systems, features dynamic line conditioning and a LCD diagnostic display. Real-time system vitals can be viewed from this display and the unit can be conveniently mounted in a workstation cabinet or directly on the desktop. The CP1350AVRLCD guards against surges/spikes, and also offers battery backup in the event of brownouts or total power loss.

The CP1350AVRLCD also has full dataline protection: RJ-11/RJ-45 (phone, fax, Ethernet, network, DSL) and RG-6 coax (DSS, cable modem, satellite, cable TV). The convenient tower designs allows for placement on the floor, inside a workstation cabinet, or directly on the desktop. "Surge-Only" outlets are perfect for the addition of peripherals such as monitors, printers, scanners, iPods or CD/DVD players.

PowerPanel Plus Smart Power Management software automatically saves and closes open files and shuts down the PC in an intelligent and orderly manner. The software allows you to view detailed information about your electrical power and vital data from the UPS. This includes configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging and scheduled shutdowns.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MysticZer0 A good solid product Set up was easy. The LCD readout is nice and shuts itself off after a few seconds. The real-time system vitals displays are nice also. I would have given it 5 stars for performance but for two minor criticisms. The software allows you to schedule daily shutdown and startup times. The shutdown places the PC in hibernation. The documentation leads you to believe that the startup time will start your PC back up at a specified time. What I've found is that, yes, the PC is put into hibernation at the scheduled shutdown time. What it also does is disable the power switch. When the scheduled start up time is reached, the PC is not restarted. Instead, the power switch is enabled again and you have to manually press the PC's power button to get it to boot out of hibernation. Also, if you try to start the PC before the scheduled start up time, you have to turn off the UPS and turn it back on for it to release the lock on the PC's power button. I would have liked the software to restart the PC automatically instead of just enabling the power button. Also, a better way to start the PC prior to a scheduled start time would have been nice. Minor irritations, sure, but enough to prevent an outstanding review in my opinion. May 3, 2009
