The CyberPower Systems CP1000AVRLCD UPS, designed for mid to high-end computer systems, features dynamic line conditioning and a LCD diagnostic display. Real-time system vitals can be viewed from this display and the unit can be conveniently mounted in a workstation cabinet or directly on the desktop. The CP1000AVRLCD guards against surges/spikes, and also offers battery backup in the event of brownouts or total power loss. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) ensures that all your electronics are receiving clean power and stabilizes the voltage to a nominal 120VAC.

The CP1000AVRLCD also has full dataline protection: RJ-11/RJ-45 (phone, fax, Ethernet, network, DSL) and RG-6 coax (DSS, cable modem, satellite, cable TV). The convenient tower designs allows for placement on the floor, inside a workstation cabinet, or directly on the desktop. "Surge-Only" outlets are perfect for the addition of peripherals such as monitors, printers, scanners, iPods or CD/DVD players.

PowerPanel Plus Smart Power Management software automatically saves and closes open files and shuts down the PC in an intelligent and orderly manner. The software allows you to view detailed information about your electrical power and vital data from the UPS. This includes configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging and scheduled shutdowns.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Gink Poor spacing on outlets This product replaced an APC unit that had served us well for several years. This unit came highly rated and we like the LCD display which we have already found helpful. The one major disappointment with the unit is the the spacing of the outlets. Other than the computer itself, most everything associated with the computer operation, speakers, modem, router, external backup drive, monitor all come equipped with a transformer on the plug which means that you can't plug directly into the UPS but just a few of these devices because the outlets are spaced much to close together. We were very disappointed with arrangement since it then forced us to plug a strip outlet into the UPS to power the remaining devices. December 14, 2011

It was very easy to setup and at this point provides peace of mind with the few brief power outages avoids waiting for the cable box to reboot.
