This IBM branded LTO-4 tape drive module installs into the IBM System Storage TS3100 Tape Library Model F4S, or the IBM System Storage TS3200 Tape Library Model F4H . LTO-4 secures and protects business-critical data with industry standard encryption capabilities and is the first open systems tape drive technology to incorporate native encryption. LTO-4 also doubles the native capacity of the previous generation LTO-3 to 800 GB and reaches native performance levels of up to 120 MB/sec, fifty percent faster than its predecessor.
