I frequently need to drain or recover hard drives.
Some recoveries take several days to reconstruct.
It's great to pull drive for a recovery, and drop it in this drive bay. Replace the drive in the PC, image it, and the user is up and running in 30 minutes while their recovery is in progress from the old drive.
Great gadget !

MacTech Best purchase I've made
Originally purchased for data xfer. Performed superb after multiple xfers of up to 1 TB. I like the fact that it is compatible with 3.5 desktop and 2.5 laptop hd.
