This tray offers you an easy and inexpensive way to expand the capabilities of the HP LaserJet 2055. Obviously, the capacity is greater than the standard tray, but the real plus is that it can be used in conjunction with the original tray and the manual sheet feeder, giving you three different feed options. On the Mac, the choice of which tray is controlled at the print dialog, and you can save the tray assignment with each application you use. For the money, this is an amazing buy. Installation only takes minutes. NOTE: you will need to install an updated print driver on your computer. The driver designation is: HP LaserJet 2055x
