This IDE/SATA external hard drive enclosure connects to a host computer through either USB 2.0 or eSATA, delivering versatility and cost-effectiveness.
The enclosure features a screwless snap-in design that saves installation time, and supports any standard 3.5-inch SATA or IDE hard drive (supports 1TB capacity hard drives) - allowing you to customize your external storage solution based on your preference of hard drive model and manufacturer.
Designed to provide a convenient and efficient operating experience, the enclosure features "One Touch Backup", which automates backup tasks, allowing you to backup files and folders at the touch of a button, based on pre-defined settings within the easy to use software utility (included).
To ensure a suitable operating environment for installed hard drives, the SATA/IDE enclosure features a built-in 80mm fan that re-distributes the heat build-up generated as a result of typical drive operation. This feature is especially important for larger volume storage (750GB, 1TB hard drives), and faster “spinning" drives (i.e 7200 rpm), as it can help optimize drive operability and in turn preserve stored data integrity.
