This APC UPS Network Management Card allows for secure monitoring and control of an individual APC UPS via web browser, command line interface, or SNMP. Embedded technology provides exceptional reliability with notification features that inform you of problems as they occur. For protected servers, the included PowerChute Network Shutdown software provides graceful, unattended shutdown in the event of an extended power outage, always keeping business information safe.

This card with environmental monitoring support allows you to connect temperature sensors, temperature/humidity sensors, or relay input/output connectors that support two input contacts and one output relay. NOTE: Relay input/output connectors are not supported in firmware version 5.0.0. See the Software/Firmware page of the APC Web site, www.apc.com/tools/download, to download a firmware upgrade that supports this feature.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by NetAdmin Good buy I recently installed this after having purchased it serveral months ago. I highly recommend using verions 5.0 of the ip configuration wizard and also upgrading the firmware to version 5.1.7. I did have some minor troubles configuring everything but after the upgrades I was able to see and set environmental temperature thresholds. Also after the firmware upgrade I was not able to see the UPS any longer. It turned out that I needed to unplugged the USB cable from the UPS that was connected to the local computer. So far so good.
