In the old days, a monitor sat on top of a flat computer box. Now they occupy desk space of their own and sit too low for my arthritic neck. This critter raised my new monitor to a more comfy position, and left space underneath for pens, an external drive and a bunch of other stuff to park. It's sturdy, simple, and works. The height is adjustable by 2-inch intervals. Big deal. Easily assembled, but I thought it should snap together, rather than requiring screws.
