The WorkCentre 4250/X Multifunction Device combines copy, print, fax and color scan capabilities with exceptional reliability and ease of use. It’s ideal for the busy office that needs large departmental MFP capabilities in a letter-sized, value-priced device. Coming with a 100-sheet duplex automatic document feeder, 100-sheet bypass tray and 500-sheet adjustable tray, the 4250/X can handle your printing needs. Copying and printing documents as a fast as 45 ppm with first page out in as little as 8 seconds, it is perfect for heavy office demands. Its color scan capabilities mean you can communicate in color via email or digital file distribution without the additional cost and usage counters let you track and analyze device usage by function for greater cost control. Plus, an embedded fax server provides Color Fax send, Address Book, Polling, Mailboxes, Forward to Fax / Email and Secure Fax options.

Network ready, the WorkCentre 4250/X eases network management chores with remote device monitoring and troubleshooting, using a CentreWare IS embedded web server and CentreWare Web, as well as third
party management systems. Automatic email alerts notify administrators or users of events that require attention, such as low toner levels. Despite the 4250/X' advanced engineering, the unti is easy to use. It includes an intuitive icon-based color touch screen with simple instructions and Help screens for copy and scan jobs. Plus, you can walk up and print from a USB memory drive or scan and store for convenient printing later.

Every feature option has its place and accommodates us every time. Sometimes in my office it looks like a giveaway because there is always a line at the copier machine. My favorite feature is the ability to scan documents to my email or interoffice and I truly enjoy the ability to setup an envelope and print it out prepared and professional. We have a large mail output. I recommend Xerox for all printer/copier needs. May 10, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 Not the best unit on the market! We always have trouble with this unit. Lines on the paper - we have to clean the glass everyday! It is slow to start and has to warm up several times a day. May 10, 2013
