Rated 1 out of 5Â by AM Unfortunately, a terrible product
Sadly this product falls short in terms of print quality and speed. After spending significant time (c.8 hours) with a Xerox technician, the conclusion that he expressed was that the printer is not sophisticated enough to print color quality that matches, what is on the computer screen. The printer is just not able to produce presenstation ready/ quality documents. Fine only in printing black and white, but be careful with grays, they come out purple.
Very dissappointed in this product, should not have switched from HP. Even after having the systems re-set, this printer is still not capable of printing the correct colors.
- Substantial difficulty calibrating grays and yellows
- Terrible quality

Rated 1 out of 5Â by JeffSaratoga Poor workmanship - shoddy product - high cost per page.
I have 13 of these - i wish i didn't. within the first 3 months of use 2 had to be replaced as the technician couldn't repair them. All of the printers have had numerous problems. The most recent repair episode kept one down for 18 workdays.
Here are a few of our problems.
Faxes will occasionally stop printing until the machine is restarted.
Replacement toners don't register and the machine won't function.
The fuser has a paper guide that is so poorly attached that it very frequently breaks - on its own, without being touched - causing constant paper jams.
These are just a few of the reliability issues, cost is also a major concern with this printer. There is the hidden cost of lost productivity and the direct cost of printing each page.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Unhappy I HATE this machine!
This machine is entirely too slow! It takes forever to scan, print, and fax. It is NOT user friendly at all, and the fact that no one ever had training on how to use and set up the machine is frustrating. We are definitely changing printers.

Our WorkCentre 6400 has good print quality, yet it takes some doing to get to that point. For a busy office on time constraints, this is most likely not the machine for you. Each process the 6400 provides has relevant importance, yet the steps required to utilize those options mandate constant confirmation that can be cumbersome.
Tray 1 of the unit is extremely sensitive to the paper types used and can be frustrating to navigate.
We have had periodic service issues, but in relationship to the amount of use, I would say those are overall minimal in volume.
For a slower paced office, this may be a great option.
