Our emphasis on diversity isn't just a fad. It was woven into the fabric of the company from the very beginning, when founders Patricia Gallup and David Hall started the business in 1982.
Founding principles
Gallup, an anthropologist by training, had studied how tools improve the quality of human life. When the first PC was introduced in the early 1980s, she believed this new tool held great potential to help a world of customers - if it could be made more accessible, understandable, and useful.
That idea has always remained at the core of PC Connection, Inc.'s success. Today, Gallup serves as chairman of the company she helped found, and in 2001 PC Connection, Inc. was ranked 13th in the nation's top woman-owned businesses.
