This Multi-Function Converter is an ideal solution for any crowded dorm room, small apartment, or home office. It turns a PC monitor into a dual-purpose screen for both computer and TV video, eliminating the need to have multiple monitors in one room. The converter accepts component or composite video signals and up converts them to VGA, enabling easy connection of video devices, including DVD players, camcorders, VCRs, and even cable television, directly to a Plasma or LCD flat panel monitor for viewing.
The Picture-In-Picture (PIP) feature allows content to be watched in a separate window on the monitor while you surf the internet, pay bills or do school work. The pass-through function allows VGA video to be sent directly to the monitor from a computer when the converter is powered down. MTS stereo output via a 3.5mm stereo jack is compatible with Dolby Pro-Logic™ for a complete theater experience.
