Rated 5 out of 5Â by Peleep Excellent. Up and running in no time at all!
Setup and working within 15 minutes of taking out of the box for three operating systems:
Windows XP Professional, Windows Pro 8, and Mac OSX 10.8.
This was all done via the included installer disc, but first connecting the printer to the network wirelessly via the WPS button on the printer and my router.
EASY PEASY!
One tip: When trying to change printer settings via wireless, you will be prompted for ID and password. The default is "admin" and "sec00000". Once you've logged in using these default details, you have the opportunity to customise to something you might remember.
Prints very fast. Very quiet. Colour scan also very good, especially when scanning multiple pages using the automatic document feeder (ADF). And as a bonus - it has a smaller footprint than my Canon MP980!
Fanastic all in one mono laser printer and full colour scanner (plus fax but i don't use this function) for a very low price if you shop around!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Patrick Not what I expected... Complicated and requires a Router for Wireless to function
This device ticks many of boxes for me. Ease of printing, Quality of print resolution, connectivity with fax function, photocopy function all in one & energy efficiency.
It does not deliver on ease and convenience of functionality specifically referring to the wireless function.
I had hoped that I could connect my office computers to this device as a stand alone wireless printer without the need for extra cables but you require a router wired with an RJ45 Cable unless you have a router with a WPS Function Button. Once that cable is out the Printer is useless again in wireless mode - Why cant it just hold the settings and continue to function without the router. The scanner only does 600 x 600 as colour which is average but ive seen much better on other branded multifunction laser scanner printers offering 2400x600. Very fast print output at high quality though. Faxes are sent with ease. If you do not have a WPS router or have intentions of running RJ45 Cables for normal routers in order to get wireless function, do not buy. Would have even been better integrated with a bluetooth server module receiving multiple bluetooth print transmissions from computers. Still a very good buy for eco-friendly heads. Photocopy function with the fax module is fast but of average quality. Worth the money spent but I will wait for another model with options like automatic duplex printing, bluetooth and higher resolution photocopying at 1200x1200. I give it 7/10 as a good buy but it could be much better with some simple improvements.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by brbl good printing; no scanning without WPS
So far this multi-function printer has suited my needs well. My main priority was having a wireless printer and while it took me a bit of time to set up the wireless functionality, it is very effective for that purpose. Print speed and quality are good, and the "toner save" option for casual print jobs is helpful. Although duplexing requires walking over to the printer and flipping the pages, it's great to have that ability.
Be aware: the scanning function only seems to work in conjunction with wireless routers that have a "WPS" button. That's disappointing. "WPS" also apparently makes set-up easier for wireless printing, but is not required.
