This is a volume license with Software Assurance under the Microsoft Open Volume program. To qualify for the program, you need to purchase at least 500 points in one of three Product Pools. Once enrolled in the program, additional re-orders can be placed for as little as one point for any Microsoft product within the same Product Pool for a two-year period. Media is not included with this license; If media is required, it can be obtained by purchasing a Microsoft Worldwide Fulfillment (WWF) media pack. We can accept orders for WWF media only at the time the license is purchased. If media is required at a later date, it would have to be purchased by the customer directly from WWF by calling 1-800-248-0655 (a valid authorization number from the Open Volume order confirmation will be needed at that time).

Excel X (version 10) takes advantage of the power of Mac OS X. It offers new timesaving tools, such as Auto Recover and Customizable Keyboard Shortcuts, as well a Calculator that lets novice spreadsheet users discover and understand the concept of formulas in cells. Excel is compatible with Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, Excel 2001 for Mac, and Excel for Windows (97, 2000, XP). It's also compatible with FileMaker Pro, so you can drag a FileMaker Pro file from the Finder onto Excel X, and the Import Wizard then helps to select the database records to import. Other features include new, customizable keyboard shortcuts, Quartz 2-D Drawing Technology to let you create stunning transparent charts, and a List Manager that simplifies the chore of managing complex lists of data. Another new feature is Auto Recover, which automatically saves the document you're working on every 10 minutes. In the event of a power failure or other system problem, Auto Recover automatically recovers all files in reverse save order so that the focus will be on the file that was saved last.
