Tripp Lite' 8-port KVM Console Switch with 17" LCD is the optimal solution for controlling multiple computers from one keyboard, mouse and monitor. This single unit combines an 8-port KVM switch, keyboard, 17" LCD monitor and touchpad - all in 1U of rack space. It stores neatly in the rack and pulls out when needed. Up to 504 computers can be controlled from this single console by daisy-chaining additional 16-port KVM switches (model B022-016 or B022-U16, available separately). Switching ports is easy using the On-Console buttons, On Screen Display (OSD) or keyboard "hot key" commands. PS/2 or USB computers/servers can be controlled using PS/2 or USB KVM cable kits. Extra HD15 and (2) PS/2 ports on the rear of the unit allow connection of a Remote Access IP unit (B051-000, available separately) or an external console.
