The Converge A/V 4 Port VGA over Cat5 video and audio extender / splitter allows up to 5 (1 local and 4 remote) monitors to be connected to a single source. The video signal is sent to remote monitors over standard 4 pair Category 5 UTP cable using RJ45 connectors and supports distances of up to 300m / 950ft. At each remote monitor a receiver STUTPEALR (see accessories) is required to convert the signal from the UTP cable back into video and audio for the display.
