This 3-Year warranty extends your Standard Express Exchange Service accompanying your Intellifax, Mono Laser or Multifunction Center printer. This next business day exchange service begins after the Standard Express Exchange period.
In the event that a Brother Customer Service Representative cannot remedy the issue with your malfunctioning product over the phone, you will be able to take advantage of this exchange service. In order to obtain service, you must provide information pertaining to your malfunctioning product as well as a valid major credit card number. Your credit card will be charged up to the cost of a new product if you fail to return your malfunctioning original product within 5 business days, the malfunctions of your original product are not covered by the limited warranty, the proper packing instructions are not followed and have caused damage to the product or if the warranty period on your original product has expired or has not been sufficiently validated with a copy of the proof of purchase. The Brother Customer Service Representative will ship the exchange product via Next Business Day Delivery Courier service with return instructions and a prepaid return airbill. You must return the original product in the same shipping carton in which the exchanged product was received and include a copyo of the bill of sale. Original accessory items and a copy of the return airbill signed by the courier must accompany the return shipment.
The refurbished or remanufactured product will be covered by the balance of the limited warranty period remaining on the original product plus an additional 30 days. The replacement product becomes your property - you must return your non-working product to Brother or be billed up to the cost of a new product.
