The IP Communications High Density Digital Voice Network Module (NM-HDV2-1T1/E1) is for use with Cisco 2600XM, 2691 and 3700 Multiservice Access Platforms.
The Cisco 2600XM, 2691 and 3700 family of multiservice platforms is continually enhancing features to provide greater flexibility to Enterprises and Managed Network Service Providers. The IP Communications High Density Digital Voice Network Module (NM-HDV2) delivers higher densities of digital voice connectivity combined with low-density analog voice connectivity as well as data and integrated access connectivity for enterprises and service providers implementing IP telephony or toll bypass. Supporting up to 120 voice channels for connection to PSTNS, PBXs, key systems, analog phones, and FAX machines, NM-HDV2 modules deliver the industry's broadest combination of voice and data connectivity options in a single network module.
Digital voice connectivity is supported on up to (4) T1 or (4) E1 ports. Mixed digital and analog/BRI voice connectivity is supported on up to (2) T1 or (2) E1 ports in combination with one analog (FXS, FXO/CAMA, E&M, or DID) or BRI Voice Interface Card (VIC).
This module, the NM-HDV2-1T1/E1, is similar to the NM-HDV2 except that it has one built-in T1/E1 port. It also supports one VIC/VWIC and 4 PVDM slots.
