Why does a customer need ISO Transport? If a customer is using an application that uses ITU-standard protocols, such as X.400 Email and FTAM file transfer, then they will need ISO transport software to make the link to the X.25 network. The Eicon software offers Transport classes 0 and 2, which are common protocols used by ITU applications in the X.25 environment.
