This 3-Year HP Care Pack provides service for your covered HP Notebook (CPU Only). Customers receive high-quality door-to-door hardware service which includes telephone support, pick-up of the failed HP branded hardware unit, repair or replacement at an HP-designated repair center and return of the operational unit to the customer by an HP-authorized courier. Return shipment is by first-class ground transportation and usually takes between 3 and 7 days, but customers may request accelerated delivery for the actual additional cost of the shipment. HP Services professionals work with customers to isolate hardware problems and help with product installation, configuration, setup, and problem resolution. For issues that cannot be resolved remotely, an HP-authorized representative at an HP-designated repair center provides technical support on the failed hardware product, repairing or replacing components or the entire unit as necessary. Coverage includes all required parts and materials.
The HP Pick-Up and Return Service provides customers with quick access to remote problem diagnosis and technical support, improved uptime and productivity and prompt repair services. Customers choose this service when they want to enhance their standard warranty with Accidental Damage Protection coverage and obtain consistent, expert hardware support backed by HP. Service is available 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The service's Accidental Damage Protection helps customers avoid repair or replacement costs due to mishaps that occur during normal operation of their mobile and desktop devices. Examples of accidental damage against which customers are protected include: liquid spills, drops, falls, collisions, electrical surges, or any accidental breakage. A unit may have to be repaired or replaced at an HP-designated location, as not all replacement parts may be available locally.
HP Accidental Damage Protection G2:
With HP Accidental Damage Protection G2, you are protected in the event you spill liquid on your keyboard, experience a power surge, drop your notebook, or incur other unexpected accidental PC damage. When events like these take place, HP has you covered.
ADP G2 covers unlimited claims up to the value of the purchase price of the system, or one replacement unit.
-Coverage applies to unintentional spills in or on the unit, drops, falls and electrical surges that occur in the course of the normal intended use of the product.
-Does not cover cosmetic damage and/or other damage that doesn't affect the unit’s functionality.
-Does not cover theft, loss, damages caused during shipment, normal wear and tear, consumables, intentional acts of damage, fire, or other exclusions specified by HP.
Note: ADP G2 Must be purchased within 30 days of purchase of hardware. If purchased after that initial 30 days, there will be a 30 day waiting period for any claims. Claims must be made within 30 days of incident. ADP is not offered in Post Warranty Care Packs.
