This 4-Year HP electronic CarePack provides support for your covered Evo notebook. It allows customers to increase their equipment availability and productivity with high-quality onsite and remote support. Customers should choose Next Business Day Hardware Support to extend their hardware warranty coverage for key systems and devices, obtain easy-to-buy, easy-to-use onsite services, improve hardware performance and uptime, increase the return on their HP and multivendor hardware investments and enjoy consistent service coverage across geographically dispersed sites. Coverage also includes accidental damage protection.
With this service, HP Services uses electronic remote support tools to isolate your problem and facilitate resolution. For issues that cannot be resolved remotely, an authorized HP Services representative arrives at your site the next day after your call has been logged and for which you have a contracted service window. HP Services returns your covered hardware to operational condition, repairing or replacing components or entire units as necessary. Your coverage includes all required parts and materials.
With coverage for standard business hours, standard business days, service is available 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Established escalation procedures enlist specialized expertise from HP and selected third-parties.
HP Accidental Damage Protection G2:
With HP Accidental Damage Protection G2, you are protected in the event you spill liquid on your keyboard, experience a power surge, drop your notebook, or incur other unexpected accidental PC damage. When events like these take place, HP has you covered.
ADP G2 covers unlimited claims up to the value of the purchase price of the system, or one replacement unit.
-Coverage applies to unintentional spills in or on the unit, drops, falls and electrical surges that occur in the course of the normal intended use of the product.
-Does not cover cosmetic damage and/or other damage that doesn't affect the unit’s functionality.
-Does not cover theft, loss, damages caused during shipment, normal wear and tear, consumables, intentional acts of damage, fire, or other exclusions specified by HP.
Note: ADP G2 Must be purchased within 30 days of purchase of hardware. If purchased after that initial 30 days, there will be a 30 day waiting period for any claims. Claims must be made within 30 days of incident. ADP is not offered in Post Warranty Care Packs.
