            Ordering Information

            iTeam’s Rackmount Server Installation Service provides for the installation of select third party branded servers in a rack at your business location by an expert iTeam server installation service provider. Our installers will: Unpack the server; Install mounting brackets/rails, if needed; Connect your server to pre-existing AC power supply or UPS, and neatly dress the cable; Attach and dress the cables your provide from keyboard, mouse, monitor, and network.

            Once the installation is completed, we will remove packing materials to an on-site dumpster or other trash receptacle. This service does not apply to Mac desktop and notebook computers.

            Compatibility Notes Products Covered: All brands of servers that run the MS Windows and Linux operating systems.

            Services Provided: Unpack the server (purchased separately); Install mounting brackets/rails (purchased separately), if applicable; Connect server to pre-existing AC power supply or UPS, neatly dressing cable; Attach customer-provided cables from keyboard, mouse, monitor, and network neatly dressing when possible; Power on unit and verify successful POST; Remove packing materials to an on-site dumpster or other trash receptacle; This service does not apply to Mac desktop and notebook computers; Does NOT include rackmount servers over 2U; Does NOT include component/hardware installation or configuration (RAID adapters, Hard Drives, Tape Backup Devices, Optical Storage Devices, etc.); Requires standard four post rack WITH destination space available as well as all required hardware (screws, tabs, etc.).

            Scheduling: Customer will be contacted within 3 business days after purchase to schedule this service.

            Hours: The service will be provided during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., local customer time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays unless an alternate, mutually agreed schedule has been arranged. Some installations may require more than one on-site visit.

            Cancellation: Customer must cancel/re-schedule any scheduled installation date at least two business days in advance to avoid additional charges.
